Algebra 1 (18 Weeks) & Geometry (Pre-AP) 

Welcome to my class page! My name is Esperanza Lara and I am the head of the math department. I have been working at United South High School 🏫 since August 2016 and have enjoyed every moment of being a panther 🐾. I graduated 👩‍🎓 from Texas A & M International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics & 7-12 Certification. In addition, I recently became ESL certified in 7-12. My goal as your teacher 👩‍🏫 is to make this learning experience a positive one. Therefore, make sure you attend class daily, try your best, and I promise you will leave my classroom feeling more confident about math🤓.
