My name is Jackie Leven-Ramos and I am the Librarian at United South High 9^th grade campus.  I was born and raised in Laredo, TX and attended both United and Laredo ISD schools; graduating from J.W. Nixon High in 1987.  I received an Associates Degree from Laredo College, Bachelor Degree in English and Political Science from Texas A & M International University, Master’s Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Texas A & M International University.  I have been in the education field for more than 25 years, serving as a Librarian for the past 17 years.  Currently I serve as a Laredo College Board of Trustee, having been elected by the community in 2014.  I strive to assist every student in their educational endeavors.
